Director of Sales, Pacific North West

Local Seattle candidates strongly preferred.

Requirements/Primary Responsibilities:

  • 10+ years successful experience in selling 2 or more of the following: switching silicon, networking equipment, or networking software
  • Proven track record of discovering, developing, and closing opportunities at existing and new customers
  • Adept at asking probing questions in order to identify customer problem areas and develop an understanding of customer 
  •  Demonstrated ability to foster and grow strategic customer relationships at all levels including executive, engineering, and commodity management
  • Ability to masterfully communicate the value proposition for networking products and position against competitive solutions 
  • Experience in Networking and virtualization (compute and storage are a plus) with proven ability to build high-quality sales collateral
  • Understand real-world Data Center designs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful proof of concept deployments
  • Good understanding of Open/Disaggregated Networking ecosystem
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work across all functions of the company.
  • Ability to get things done; must be resourceful, proactive and aggressive
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations
